Business owner and entrepreneur, Anna Minter,
was the children’s entertainer of choice to the stars
prior to moving to the Pacific Northwest. In fact, as her
prominence continued to flourish in southern California,
Ms. Annie (as she has been affectionately called) was approached
by a Fox Media affiliate to take part in a pilot educational
program for children’s television. However, she decided
to decline the offer in order to move with her husband and
three sons to the Pacific Northwest in 1991. (The family
was blessed with a 4th child, a daughter, in 1997.) Not
surprisingly, Ms. Annie’s entertainment company has
continued to thrive and expand in her new southern Oregon
community.
In addition to her children’s entertainment
company, in 1991,Ms. Annie began a second career, as an
elementary school teacher. She has since been recognized
for her outstanding dedication to her students and has received
both local and national honors with an inclusion in Who’s
Who Among American Teachers 2006.
Her love for children coupled with her enthusiasm for excellence
in education, has inspired her to spend more than 22 years
honing her craft as speaker, entertainer, educator, and
most recently, children’s protocol consultant. Combining
her extensive capabilities, Ms. Annie formed an “edu-tainment”
company, Gracious Me™, in 2006. Dedicated to the preserving
of social awareness, Gracious Me™ offers interactive,
age appropriate, instructional programs designed to instill
practical and timely lessons with an emphasis on fun for
today’s children and young adults. Ms. Annie has also
trained under some of the industry’s most recognized
names in etiquette expertise.
Ms. Annie is currently an active member
in good standing with The Etiquette Consultant’s Connection
and Toastmasters International.
